In the framework of the
forthcoming Homeland & Global Security Forum which took
place in Brussels (Belgium),
a Special Program was dedicated to European
Union’s neighbourhood policy and its problems of management and credibility at
the internal level, on October 26.
This Special Programme
also focused on the Three
Seas Initiative, a promising and ambitious cooperation process which
strengthens the Central European
North-South axis, from Baltic Sea to Adriatic and Black Sea.
The Initiative is an
original answer to the different challenges weakening this Regional
Organization. The rebalancing of the European Union Governance and the
emergence of new decision centers in the Eastern part of Europe, foster the
necessary reforms of the European Union.
integrated into structuring projects, Central European Countries will open
their internal markets to the 21st century’s
global partners, notably by becoming the Western terminus of the « Silk Road ».
