The Official Opening Session of the 30th Annual Session of the Crans Montana Forum in Geneva
(Switzerland), was devoted to restoring security and trust between
nations.
Among the topics addressed :
- The deterioration of the international framework
and the emergence of violence in diplomatic activities, some Governments no
longer respect those who are promoting different values
- Making Foreign policy is not like managing the
daily business of an NGO permanently connected to social networks
- While a new kind of Spring may be emerging in
the Balkans, the Kosovo issue represents a major challenge for South Eastern
Europe, and the European Union
- The mismanagement of the Ukraine crisis by
international Organizations and the international community remains a dangerous
threat for global security and stability
- Youth will not wait anymore for the necessary
changes - the Africa- Europe partnership is key to global Security and
Prosperity on the Continent
