ENERGY INDUSTRY AND SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT, THE MOROCCAN MODEL AND THE SOUTH-SOUTH COOPERATION

Special Programme

In the framework of the Crans Montana Forum on Africa & South-South Cooperation, which will be held in Dakhla (Morocco) from March 18 to 21, 2020, a special Programme will be dedicated to the energy industry and sustainable development, with a special focus on the Moroccan model and South-South Cooperation.

Among the key topics :

  • Sustainable economy : aligning strengths and resources of industries, such as energy, with the economic and societal challenges that countries’ public policies promote
  • Innovative regulation : enabling free movement of goods and people between the South-South belt’s countries as a guarantee of sustainable, structuring and safe trade exchanges
  • Environment awareness : sharing sustainable management of energy and natural resources, a necessary cooperation that goes beyond geographical, political and economic interests
