Next Club of Ports’ Programme organised in cooperation with the Women's International Shipping & Trading Association, on Saturday November 16 in Brussels

On Saturday November 16 , the
Programme of the Club of Ports will gather specialized Ministers, Directors of
Ports, Shippers' Councils, Maritime Authorities, International and Regional
Organizations coming from all over the World to notably address a topic of the
highest importance : « Achieving gender equality in the Maritime Industry
».
Within this historically male
dominated industry, this session will be the occasion to raise international
community awareness on the importance of gender equality in this Industry in
particular, where Women remain significantly under-represented.
This Programme will be organised in
association with the Women's International
Shipping & Trading Association (WISTA) and will notably be attended by its President, Mrs. Despina Panayiotou Theodosiou.
WISTA, who features among the
Organisations Members of the Crans Montana Club of Ports’ Strategic Committee,
is an international networking organization whose primary mission is to attract
and support women, at the management level, in the maritime, trading and
logistics sectors.
